Girls Gone Wild Guru Fights For Freedom

RENO, Nev. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Joe Francis is using some surprising support in his bid to bark his way out of the big house.

For eight-and-a-half months, Francis, the multi-millionaire mogul behind the controversial Girls Gone Wild videos, has been held in jail without bail, and according to Francis, the true tale is wild – and wrong.

Francis was initially charged in 2003 with a slew of offenses, most of which were thrown out.

However, when ordered to jail on a civil suit brought later by two 17-year-old girls, Francis was found with prescription medication in his cell.

Francis says, “I’m being held for having Lunesta and cholesterol meds. The fact that I can’t get bail is f■■■ing ridiculous.”

Recently, Francis has gotten help from Christian conservatives like Rusty Humphries and Mike Gallagher, and from FOX News’ Greta Van Susteren, who, in a New York Times article this past Sunday (Dec. 16), said, “They’re messing with him, without a doubt, and that’s because Joe has poked a stick in the eyes of the prosecutors who have the power to hold him.”

But Francis gets the final word, saying, “The criminal justice system should be reserved for criminals, not used to get revenge on someone you disagree with.”
