Willem Dafoe Lands Naughty Gig, Doesn’t Sneak A Peek

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Before making it big in showbiz, actor Willem Dafoe had a naughty gig, but he swears he didn’t sneak a peek.

According to New York-based gossip reporter Baird Jones, the Spiderman actor worked for Penthouse and Hustler magazines when he lived in the Midwest – but the job was anything but sexy.

Dafoe – who revealed the scoop to Jones at fashion label Costume National’s party for their new book, Costume National: 21 (Assouline) this past Monday (Dec. 3) – says his first job as a teenager was as a binder of Penthouse and Hustler magazines, but insists the smutty stint wasn’t as great as it sounds.

Dafoe says, “It sounds exciting but it was actually just a typical, Midwestern factory job. Everything just went by in a constant flow of magazine pages and binding.”

And the Oscar-nominated star insists he never even thought of sneaking a peek at the tempting, X-rated content.

Dafoe adds, “I did not look at the pictures, not even one. It could just as easily have been National Geographic and Popular Mechanics. There was nothing erotic to it at all.”
