Jerry Seinfeld Reunites With Childhood Acquaintance On ‘30 Rock’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Comedian Jerry Seinfeld is guest starring on the Emmy-winning series 30 Rock this season, and he’s reuniting with an old acquaintance in the process.

Seinfeld is making his first ever guest appearance on a sitcom by starring on 30 Rock, and he couldn’t be more excited.

Seinfeld says, “I’m a big fan of Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey, and I thought it would be fun to do the show. I like the show, so why not?”

And Seinfeld was comfortable doing the series, since he’s no stranger to the show’s leading man, Alec Baldwin.

Turns out, Seinfeld knows Baldwin from back in the day, before either one of them made it big in showbiz.

Seinfeld explains, “Alec and I grew up in the same town. We weren’t friends as kids, but I knew his dad. His dad was a football coach at my high school, and I was always aware of him, and you know, all the crazy Baldwin brothers. I’ve always wanted to work with Alec, so doing 30 Rock seemed like a great opportunity. It was fun.”

Season two of 30 Rock premieres tomorrow (Oct. 4) on NBC.
