Whatcha Gonna Do When Midge Comes For You

GEAUGA COUNTY, Ohio (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One little law enforcer is taking a big bite out of crime in one small Ohio town.

Midge is a drug-sniffing pooch on the Geauga County, Ohio, police force, and the dog – who’s part chihuahua, part rat terrier – proves that sniffing success has nothing to do with size.

Using her keen nose and teeny eight-pound frame, Geauga County Sheriff Dan McClelland says mini Midge hasn’t missed a drug bust since she was four-and-a-half months old.

But don’t judge a police pooch by her cover.

McClelland says, “The inmates love her and like to pet her. None of them try anything with her though. She’s cute, but she’s very quick. They couldn’t catch her.”

With her bitchin’ police skills, Midge has become a hero worldwide, but she won’t be turning into a doggy diva anytime soon.

McClelland says, “I don’t let her watch TV, so the attention won’t get to her head.”
