‘Disturbed’ Makes More Music Than Meets the Eye

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Modern rock band Disturbed is known for their high-powered jams, and pretty soon, they’ll be in the Optimus Prime of their career.

That’s because the robo-rockers are morphing their way into the summer blockbuster Transformers with their new single, “This Moment,” which appears in the film’s soundtrack.

Lead Singer David Draiman says his band is perfect for Transformers, because much like the hit 80’s cartoon, their music is much more than meets the eye.

Draiman says, “We don’t pull any punches, and we are what we are. We try to instill strength and take away the fear from anyone who listens to us.”

And Draiman says his group is not “disturbed” at all by the new Michael Bay flick and their involvement in it.

As he puts it, “I’ve seen some clips that Michael showed me and it looks spectacular.”

Transformers starring Shia LaBeouf hits theaters July 4th.
