‘Spider-Man’ Kiss Should Be Attempted At Your Own Risk

DALLAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The steamy upside-down kiss between Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst in the Spider-Man films is getting mixed reviews from a kissing expert in Dallas.

Kissing expert Tomima Edmark runs a lingerie website called, and says the sexy kiss in Spider-Man looks great on the big screen but wouldn’t be nearly as perfect if attempted by real couples.

Says Edmark: “Since the man is hanging upside-down it would be a really awkward kiss. The girl’s eyes would be staring at the guy’s hairy neck flab, their noses would be hitting each other’s chins, and their tongues wouldn’t fit right. It would be a make-out disaster!”

Although Edmark thinks the smooch is best left to the Hollywood experts, it can still be attempted by amateurs – as long as safety precautions are taken.

Edmark suggests trying the kiss “horizontally” while sitting on a couch instead of suspended in the air, to prevent loss of breath or blood from rushing to the head.

With couples thinking safety before smooching, she says the kiss – if done right – will be hot.

She adds, “The women will love it because they’re completely in control and the men will love it because they’re being dominated and have a good view of their woman’s cleavage.”

Spider-Man 3 opens in theaters nationwide this Friday (May 4).
