Bodybuilder Gets Bad ‘Deal’

OCEANSIDE, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A bodybuilder who claims she’s been in constant pain ever since attending a live taping of Deal Or No Deal now she wants her own suitcase stuffed with cash.

Bodybuilder Judy Myers is suing the hit NBC show for an undisclosed sum and claims she hurt her entire right side of her body after falling during a taping of the show in February, 2006.

Myers says her injuries came when she was participating in a commercial break dance contest and fell down as she ran to the stage.

She says the accident happened because “there were no guard rails or lightstripes on the ground.”

Even worse: She says the accident “was embarrassing” and “people thought it was part of the show” even though host Howie Mandel, who was chatting with producers, didn’t even look up to see if she was OK.

Fourteen months later, Myers is still “in complete shock” over the whole incident and says the pain in her right leg, arm and side of her body is so strong that she’s had to cancel appearances and put her internet business on hold.

However, Myers is happy to know her ordeal has gotten TV studios to think seriously about taking precautions when they design their sets.

For instance, she says the Deal Or No Deal set now has handrails.
