Fending Off 25 Bachelorettes Nearly Sinks Navy Doctor

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The U.S. Navy has trained Dr. Andy Baldwin to handle almost any situation – except fending off 25 marriage-hungry bachelorettes.

That’s the dilemma facing the 30-year-old undersea medical officer because he’s been chosen as the next star of the ABC series The Bachelor.

Baldwin has traveled all over the world and competed in six triathlons but admits it all pales compared to the job of singling out one woman to be his real-life sweetheart.

Says Baldwin: “I had no idea how difficult the mission and journey would be.”

Baldwin is used to saving lives, but having the hearts of all these women on his shoulders was truly daunting.

Still, he wouldn’t change the experience for anything. Baldwin says he’s “found an amazing woman” and is “totally in love.”

The Bachelor: Officer And A Gentleman premieres April 2.
