Jeff Foxworthy Loves When Kids School Adults

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If there’s one thing Jeff Foxworthy’s learned as the host of a new game show – it’s that fifth graders know how to school adults.

Foxworthy is the host of Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? and he says it’s fun to watch average kids school adults on basic history, science and English questions.

He admits many adult contestants let their pride keep them from earning serious dough because they don’t want to ask the children onstage for help.

As Foxworthy points out, “These kids have seen the questions in school for the last few years while the adults might not have seen them for 20 or 30 years.”

However, when they do ask to “cheat” off the school kids they have a lot at stake.

Says Foxworthy: “It’s crazy to see someone put all their trust into a kid that would be gone the second they hear the ice cream truck outside.”

Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader? premieres Tuesday (Feb. 27) on Fox.
