CPA Wants To Have A Rap Battle With Vanilla Ice

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A CPA in Santa Barbara, California, has a beef with Vanilla Ice.

CPA David Rachford is miffed the rapper is promoting TurboTax Tax preparation software and wants to break it down – with a rap-off.

Ice is currently promoting the contest for TurboTax where aspiring rappers make up rhymes about tax season.

Rachford is against the contest – and Ice in particular – for two reasons: He thinks it’s silly for a millionaire to depend on computer software to ferret out all the possible deductions; plus, he doubts Ice even knows the difference between a W-2 form and a 1099.

So Rachford is taking his message to the streets by creating his own rap against the man who gave the world “Ice Ice Baby.”

The taxing lyrics include lines like: Yo Vanilla! You outta know betta/ When you making royalties and got a lotta chedda/ You prolly got a team of nerdy bean countaz/ Dollas chillin in the Caymans in a secret tax shelta.

Rachford isn’t entering his rap in the TurboTax competition, but says he’d love to meet with Ice face-to- face and school him on tax returns.

Says Rachford: “He might have 15 years of experience on me when it comes to rapping but I’m the CPA.”
