Prison-Bound Criminals Get Doctor Recommended Advice

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If you’re heading to the slammer and want to avoid getting slammed by the other inmates, then you should talk with a cagey consultant who offers jail preparation classes.

Steve Scholl runs a consulting business called “Dr. Prison,” which coaches men and women who are about to serve sentences in jail or prison on how to behave behind bars.

Dr. Prison consultants charge between $275 and $1200 and teach things like how to walk in jail and which phones to use.

He insists not knowing these details can have serious consequences.

Says Scholl: “Jail is a dangerous place. Something as simple as entering someone’s cell without permission could get you stabbed, and sharing a cigarette with someone of a different race could get you killed.”

To avoid getting hurt and making enemies while incarcerated Scholl conducts role playing exercises with his clients like pretending to be a “disgruntled inmate in real jail scenarios.”
