Dirtiest Hotel In America Bugs Travelers

NEEDHAM, Mass. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Vacationing at a beach resort should feel like heaven, but one hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia, apparently looks like hell. has just released a list of America’s dirtiest hotels and coming out No. 1 is the Tropicana Resort Hotel in Virginia Beach, Virginia. spokesman Brooke Ferencsik says so many rank comments were made about the Tropicana that it won by more than a nose.

Although the Tropicana’s website claims the resort “brings a new feel of luxury” to guests, folks who’ve stayed there refer to the place as “a pig slum,” and the “toilet bowl of Virginia Beach,”

One reviewer even complained there were actual feces smeared on the bathroom walls of one room.

The Tropicana charges between $75 and $100 per night and previous patrons say that fee got them lots of dirty sheets and towels; cracked walls; and bugs on the ceilings and beds.

Tropicana Resort representatives were unavailable for comment about the dubious honor.
