Thousands Of Daughters Left Orphans During Football Season

DENVER (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Thousands of girls across the United States become orphans each fall thanks to football.

That’s according to author and former football addict Keith Hudson.

He says he’s talked to more than 4,000 “football orphans” who say their fathers turn into football fanatics every fall.

Says Hudson: “It’s so easy now with Monday Night Football and Sunday football, and fantasy football, and the internet to get sucked in.”

He says it’s important for dads to “find a sports alternative” and spend “at least one hour a week with their daughters” otherwise it can affect their dating choices later in life.

He says dads can show their love by simply taking their daughter to the movies or watching a show she likes, like The Bachelor.

As he puts it, “Just don’t make them watch football – because in the end, they’re pretty much competing with the game.”
