Flavor Flav Wants Taste Of Solo Success

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Yeaaahhh Boyyyy! Flavor Flav may shine more as a reality TV star than a rapper these days, but the 47-year-old artist hasn’t lost his love for hip-hop music just yet.

In fact, Flav is releasing a self-titled solo album on Halloween (Oct. 31).

He says the album has been in the works for over 19 years, since his days as a member of the political rap group Public Enemy, and hopes the world is ready to “...stomach Flavor Flav’s raps.”

Says Flav: “My solo music is so different than Public Enemy’s style. A guy like me, well, I don’t care about politics. I just like to rap about life and love, man.”

While some of the tracks on his album are about love and ladies, Flav insists none of the songs were inspired by the women who appeared on his show, Flavor of Love.

Still, he adds, “The ladies on my show loved the album. We sang the songs around the house all the time and my girl ‘Deelishis’ really supports my music comeback.”
