Sara Gilbert Learning To Love Free Time

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – After growing up on the set of Roseanne, former child star Sara Gilbert admits she’s had her share of set withdrawals.

The actress says there was a point where she felt like she needed to always be working in order to stay busy and that it has been only recently that she has learned to appreciate free time.

Says Gilbert: “I used to really like to work more than anything but I’ve learned to take time off – that’s one of the perks of being an actor – you can have free time when you want.”

Gilbert becomes a recurring cast member on the CBS sitcom The Class starting Monday (Oct. 9) and she says she couldn’t have picked a better show or cast to work with.

As she puts it, “They all have plenty of credits of their own and we get along really well.”

Besides juggling a TV role, Gilbert is busy raising her two- year-old toddler with her girlfriend and says she would have no problems with him getting into acting at a young age.

In her words, “I will be happy with whatever he wants to do with his life and support him.”
