Polaroids Best Cameras For Taking Ghost Pictures

BOULDER, Colo. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – When it comes to taking photos of ghosts, nothing beats a Polaroid.

That’s what Mark Macy has learned in 15 years of taking photos of spooks, spirits and ghosts.

Although he’s tried every possible camera, Macy still gets the best results from a Polaroid 600, and theorizes “it’s because it’s hard to tamper with.”

Macy says the photos he snaps shows there is a spirit world overlapping our material world. Some of the photos, he admits, are open to interpretation but claims the picture he has of singer John Denver “is crystal clear.”

Macy discusses how to take “ghost photos” in a new book, Spirit Faces (Weiser Books), but he admits it’s not something that can be easily duplicated.

That’s because Macy uses something called a “luminator,” a four-foot-tall tower that supposedly generates a level of subtle energy in every room – and there’s only nine others in the world.
