Johnny Lang Not For Sale To Feminine Hygiene Ads

ENCINO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Most people know Johnny Lang as a blues musician, but he almost had a reason to see red.

That’s because Lang, who has been making records since the age of 15, says the worst moment of his career came when someone tried to pitch his music for a feminine hygiene ad.

He turned it down flat and says “bad ideas are bad ideas.”

In his words: “There’s always someone trying to convince you of a bad idea in the music industry; but when they offered a feminine hygiene ad, even I knew to say no as fast as possible.”

Lang’s newest CD, Turn Around, hits stores today (Sept. 19) and he promises none of the songs will ever appear in tampon commercials.
