White House Gang Gets Lil’ (Rascals) Treatment In Mobile Phone Cartoon

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The White House gang is getting the Our Gang treatment.

But this time, those Little Rascals being replaced by George W. Bush, “Condi” Rice, Donald Rumsfield and Dick Cheney for a new cartoon called Lil’Bush.

It’s an animated series of shorts offered by Amp’d Mobile that is the pet project of Simpsons and David Letterman writer Donick Cary.

The plots center around the peewee Pres and his misadventures – like trying to get villains Lil’ John Kerry and Lil’ Kim Jong Il to give him his way.

Cary says he doesn’t really worry about offending pro- Bush Republicans because, as he puts it: “I could easily have done something similar if [the President] was a Democrat.”

Just imagine, Cary says, that it's Democrats being belittled for laughter’s sake – like, “Lil’ Hillary,” “Lil’ Gore,” or even “Lil’ Barbara Streisand” and “Lil’ Michael Moore.

Though Cary politely acknowledges that the latter character –“Lil' Michael Moore'' – probably isn’t very believable, even for a cartoon.
