Set ‘Sale’ On ‘Gilligan’s’ S.S. Minnow

VANCOUVER, B.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Just sit right back and you’ll hear a sales, a sale of the faithful ship that appeared on Gilligan’s Island.

That’s because a Wheeler Express Cruiser that portrayed the S.S. Minnow on the 1964 season of Gilligan’s Island is being sold for a whopping $99,000.

The 37-feet-long boat is currently docked in Vancouver, British Columbia and the seller, George Schultz, says it’s definitely ship-shape since being refurbished in 1990.

That means no coconuts are lying around the stern, nor are there any other traces of Gilligan, the Skipper, the Millionaire or his wife.

In fact, the only thing that remains from the boat’s days as the Minnow is the name.

Although the current owner tried contacting the living cast members to see if they wanted to buy it, not one of them has responded.

However, he’s getting lots of interest from Gilligan groupies who might want to use the boat for their own three-hour tours.
