Cats And Horses Most Common Pet Ghosts

ASHEVILLE, S.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A dog may be man’s best friend but cats and horses are the pets most likely to come back as ghosts.

That’s the spooky news from paranormal researcher Joshua Warren, author of a new book, Pet Ghosts (Career Press).

Warren has interviewed thousands of people who’ve seen their pets come back as spooks and he says cats and horses tend to do it more than dogs or birds.

He is still is trying to figure out why that’s the case, but figures cat owners may simply “be more attuned to paranormal experiences than other folks.”

As far as horse apparitions are concerned, Warren suggests they may not appear more than other pet ghosts “but they’re more noticeable because they’re so big.”

But while ghost bird sightings aren’t as common, Warren says there have been numerous reports, including one from a New Mexico man who claimed his parrot came back from the dead in order to tell its owner his fiance was having sex with another man.
