Tim Robbins Joins Pearl Jam Onstage To Flub Song

INGLEWOOD, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Actor Tim Robbins had the chance to play rock star on Monday (July 10) when he joined Pearl Jam on stage during their Los Angeles concert.

Robbins joined the band onstage to sing the X song, “I Must Not Think Bad Thoughts” and his beige sports jacket and tie reminded more than one audience member of the folk-singing Republican he played in Bob Roberts, even though his long grey locks resembled his New Age nerd role in High Fidelity.

Vedder introduced Robbins by claiming, “We’re going to attempt something right now we’ve never tried before anywhere, ever - a song by the band who opened for us last time we were here, X.

Robbins played guitar and shared vocals with Vedder, but their brief collaboration ended in a couple bad gaffs.

Vedder joked with Robbins afterwards, adding: “Thanks, Tim. We’ll get it right next time.”
