Brooks Lambert is just one of the creators of a product called the Beerbelly a strap-on belly-shaped beverage container that holds up to 80 ounces of whatever drink you choose to fill it up with.
Lambert says he and his surfer friends always wanted to sneak booze into movie theaters and other venues, but were tired of sticking cans of beer in their socks or worse, down their pants.
The guys used their familiarity with wetsuits to rig up a sling and a neoprene bladder to make their first Beerbelly. Surprisingly, Lambert says, What started out to be a gag turned out to be an actual business.
The Beerbelly holds anything from beer to margaritas to hot chocolate safely under your clothes, and Lambert swears a girl got through airport security wearing a Beerbelly filled with cosmopolitan cocktails.
The ironic thing is that you cant already have an enormous beer belly if you want to wear the Beerbelly. Lambert says your waistline can be 40 inches, max.
