San Francisco Rocker Sees Dead People

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A rock band in San Francisco is giving new meaning to death rock thanks to its frontman.

By night, Wilson Gil sings in the band The Willful Sinners, but by day he picks up dead bodies and transports them to morgues and funeral parlors for the business he runs, Mortuary Accommodations.

Gil admits his day job has an influence on his music, but ironically, he ends up writing more songs about living than death.

And he’s not at a loss for inspiration while on the road. In Gil’s words, “I’ve written some of my best songs driving down the freeway with a body in the back.”

Despite his morbid job, he says chicks dig it, adding, “It’s some sort of bizarre attractive quality.”

Gil says most people he meets on the job have no idea about his musical career. He says he just has to remember to take off the black fingernail polish before going to work.

The Willful Sinners will release their new album American Banned on March 11.
