David Hasselhoff Fans Seek to Weigh Star’s Head

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Celebrities are often accused of having big heads, and David Hasselhoff is no exception.

In fact, The International Federation of Competitive Eating (IFOCE) often compares Hasselhoff’s head to a nine-pound burger used in their annual Big Daddy Burger Eating Contest.

As a result, the group has petitioned the actor to participate in a non-surgical head weighing procedure to see if the comparison is justified.

In the words of IFOCE President Richard Shea, “Unless we are certain of its weight, it is irresponsible to use Mr. Hasselhoff’s head as a standard by which to weigh this burger.”

The weighing process would require the Knight Rider star to lie on a table with his head extended over the edge onto a scale or submerge himself in water to obtain the head weight via volumetrics.

Hasselhoff has been sent a letter requesting his participation and Shea says they’d love to have the exact weight information before this year’s Big Daddy Burger Contest on Jan. 21 in Las Vegas.

Hasselhoff was unavailable for comment, but his reps giggled at the prospect of weighing his noggin.
