Homelessness Not A Joke For SNL’s Will Forte

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If homelessness is no laughing matter, why is Saturday Night Live comedian Will Forte participating in an event to eradicate homelessness?

In Forte’s words, “It’s because they think Will Forte isn’t funny.”

Nevertheless, Forte says he’ll be appearing in Los Angeles on December 19 at a comedy event called “Homelessness Isn’t Funny” put on by The National Policy and Advocacy Council on Homelessness.

Forte says he’ll be performing in a 20 minute sketch centering around Otis Day – of Animal House fame – and a neverending party.

Forte admits, “It’s difficult to explain.”

One person who won’t be showing up though, is President George W. Bush, or at least the impersonation of Bush that Forte performs on SNL.

Forte’s performing partner, Mike Schwartz – a writer from Scrubs – will also participate, as well as comedian Demetri Martin of The Daily Show.
