Thats the word from Mike Lane, the CFO of Bobs Space Racers, the company that manufactures Whac-a-Mole.
He says for $3,795 you can have the same [Whac-a- Mole] that sits in a Chuck E. Cheese, but if youre willing to spend at least $6,500, theyll take a whack at custom art and heads.
Lane says the price of the game depends on the extent of customization. For example, the company has an order for a 15-head cabinet thats priced at $27,000. He adds, I havent figured out how theyre going to keep up with it.
He says they get a lot of orders for custom heads, but admits, Nobodys asked for a Clinton or a Bush. Lets face it. Its only going to be valid for about four to eight years.
