Paris’ Tinkerbell Fighting Depression

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – While the spotlight has been on Paris Hilton’s recent hotness, her monkey Baby Luv, it seems her tea cup Chihuahua Tinkerbell has slipped into depression.

Eyewitnesses have spotted Hilton staff members taking Tinkerbell to a posh Beverly Hills animal psychiatrist known for specializing in doggie depression.

Tink has played second fiddle to Baby Luv, that is, until days ago when Paris’ primate was confiscated by animal handlers as an illegal pet.

According to LA-based animal therapist David Reinecker – who is not Tinkerbell’s shrink – dogs often develop depression caused by jealousy when a new pet is brought into the house.

Reinecker says if a dog like Tinkerbell goes from always being held and sitting in someone’s lap to nothing, it can become depressed.

Reinecker says dogs are “conative learners” who learn by watching from the pack around them.

He says that means: “If you’re unstable, they’re unstable.”

But he adds, Tink’s blues could be caused by diet or emotional dynamics in the family.
