Norman Pardo, CEO of Captiva Outback Corporation, is the brainchild behind a documentary that shows Simpson uncut, at his best and worst in public appearances.
In 2001, Pardo started taking Simpson to public areas like malls, bus stops, night clubs and even drove him in a Rolls Royce limo down the center of Philadelphia and filmed the reaction that ensued.
Out of almost 70 hours of footage, Pardo says everyones response is different, but what he noticed is that people who approach The Juice are never divided racially. He says wealthy people are more likely to shy away from him, while the middle- and lower-class have no fear of approaching Simpson.
Pardo says, That surprised me because were supposed to be racially divided...if you listen to the media.
The footage is still in the process of being turned into a book and DVD combo from Lighthouse Press, Inc. that should be released in early 2006.
