Comedian Hopes ‘Blind Date’ Rejection Results In A Date

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Getting rejected for a spot on the dating/drunken make-out series Blind Date has inspired a New York comedian to make lemonade out of lemons.

He plans on getting a date out of it.

Comedian Adam Wade will be showing a video of his Blind Date interview and talking about the subsequent rejection tomorrow (Oct. 18) as part of The Rejection Show, a monthly show in New York that embraces the failures of writers, artists and performers.

Wade admits, “I’m not a stud,” but hopes female audience members will see in the video that he’s a “genuinely nice guy” and not just looking to make out with a girl with fake boobs.

For the first time, The Rejection Show will feature a Q&A session with the cast of real-life rejects, and in Wade’s words, “I’m putting myself out there. I hope to get a date out of this.”

Wade knows he’ll have some competition from semi-famous cartoonists from The New Yorker on the panel, but figures he has an edge because, he insists, “I need to be consoled!”
