The GameTrust company which makes a variety of game platforms that can be linked onto websites is automatically entering anyone who adds at least one game to their site into a contest where the grand prize is a free trip to Moscow and a two-hour ride into space aboard a MIG 25 rocket.
GameTrust CEO Adeo Ressi figures the spacey contest is a natural for netheads because, as he puts it, most computer buffs are closet Star Trek fans.
Many of them are also sedentary which is why Ressi picked the MIG 25 ride over other types of space tourism. He says it offers the most bang for the buck because it lets a relatively healthy person experience space without months of training.
The contest goes until Dec. 15 and the winning computer geek will be announced Dec. 19.
