Jilted Authors Put Rejection Behind Them With Toilet Paper

RALEIGH, N.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Jilted authors now have the chance to put rejection letters they’ve received from publishers behind them thanks to “rejection toilet paper.”

The doodie paper product is being offered by the folks at, a site that lets writers publish and sell their books and will now take any author’s rejection letter and print them onto rolls of customized toilet paper. spokesman Stephen Fraser figures the TP will be popular since authors get rejected all the time and they usually keep their letters as a way to motivate them.

While the TP is usable – the ink doesn’t rub off and it’s “facial quality” – Fraser figures most will get it for “emotional gratification” and “psychological revenge” and use it as a conversation piece.

Fraser jokes, “This could be the most significant innovation in the toilet paper industry since two-ply.”
