Star Trek Aliens Need Security On Vegas Monorail

LAS VEGAS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Las Vegas gets visitors from all over the world but now the appeal of Sin City is becoming truly universal, thanks to a group of aliens.

Starting next Thursday (Sept. 22), a group of 12 folks dressed up as Star Trek aliens such as Klingons and Vulcans will ride the Las Vegas Monorail daily, speaking to riders and handing out pamphlets.

No, these people aren’t crazy. They’re spreading the word about Vegas’ monorail system, which runs through The Strip.

Admittedly, not every casino-hopper will want to listen to a weird-looking alien – especially after a few stiff drinks.

That’s why officials for Star Trek: The Experience at the Las Vegas Hilton, the place supplying the aliens, are assigning a personal security crew to prevent alien assaults.

It’s just a precaution though. Campaign spokeswoman Jana Blackburn doesn’t expect any altercations with the aliens because, she points out, “They come in peace.”
