Still, she admits, she can’t help but be inspired by the people she meets and says those conversations may become musical compositions.
For instance, Grant spent yesterday with a woman whose husband had terminal cancer and discussed how the man had been gorgeous before he got sick.
Grant says the woman insisted her hubby was only now a true rock for the family because he didn’t have his looks to rely on anymore.
As Grant puts it, “She says, ‘He’s really a rock, now.’”
Grant says her work schedule won’t permit her to write songs right now but she makes endless notes of her face-to-face meetings and wouldn’t be surprised if they show up in musical form.
In the meantime, Three Wishes debuts Sept. 23 on NBC.
