Pick Your Flick

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Movie loving folks only have themselves to blame if a flick in which they pick the actors, directors and plot lines goes bad.

That’s the idea behind www.thepublicpicture.com, a website-contest that’s giving people the ability to vote on the stars, director and even the genre of a new film.

Project spokesman Alex Kane hopes the A-list actors and actresses and the director who receive the most votes will commit to the film when asked.

Stars and directors making the list include Tom Hanks, Cameron Diaz, Martin Scorsese and Tim Burton, and Kane admits they’ll take a “slight” hit in salary for their work.

Still, he thinks the celebs will agree to participate because “They finally would know what the public wants.”

The online voting will take place for the next two to four months and Kane expects shooting to commence within the next couple of years.
