Oklahoma-based Reggie Bowles tells the story of how African- American athlete and actor Woody Strode the gladiator who battles Kirk Douglas in Spartacus built his body.
Bowles says Strode bulked up with just three exercises: pushups, body weight squats and sit-ups and the end results reportedly impressed Hitler so much that the dictator commissioned two portraits of the athletes physique.
Bowles says his Explosive Fitness program and equipment is simpler than Strodes and claims a participant can expect to gain 20 to 30 pounds of lean muscle mass in one year, and burn the caloric equivalent of running 10 miles a day.
