Rip Taylor In Hazzard County

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – They don’t usually take kindly to flamboyant-types in hillbilly country, but comedian Rip Taylor was welcome in Hazzard County.

The 71-year-old appears in a handful of scenes in The Dukes of Hazzard to which he says, “I’m Johnny Knoxville’s good luck charm. Every movie he’s in I’m in.”

The last time Taylor appeared with Knoxville was in the 2002 movie, Jackass: The Movie, where Taylor says he was beating off crocodiles with his wig as they tried to climb in his rowboat.

This time, Taylor spent three days on the set, mostly for a scene where Knoxville is in bed with two hookers.

Taylor says he kept poking fun at Knoxville while cameras were rolling during the steamy scene telling the star, “Johnny, your wife’s on line two.”

Taylor says, “I think he hired me to make him laugh.”
