Rich Girl Liquidates Inheritance In Online Mystery Auction

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A not-so-poor-little-rich girl is grabbing headlines with an online mystery auction.

Twenty-nine-year-old Charlotte, North Carolina, resident Dore Palais has created a stir by liquidating her inheritance – the full contents of which are even a mystery to her – on eBay before her parents die.

Included in the auction is: a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home somewhere on the east coast; the inventory for starting a boutique business; the keys to a vault and a safe deposit box with contents unknown to Palais; and family heirlooms valued at $1.5 million.

Gainfully unemployed, Palais says she asked for her inheritance from her folks – who know she’s a free spirit – so she could use the money to travel now.

The opening bid starts at $15,000, and if she doesn’t hit $1.5 million when the auction ends July 27, she says she’s not worried, because as she puts it, “Money is not an issue to me.”
