Stage Set For Klingon Community Theater

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Star Trek fans will soon be putting down their pimple cream and picking up their theater glasses.

That’s because members of the “Imperial Klingon Vessel Stranglehold” fan club are preparing for their annual “Klingon lifestyles presentation” at San Diego’s Comic-Con on Friday night (Jul. 15).

The presentation features about 20 Klingon converts who dress up in Klingon costumes and act in original plays.

Dennis Hannon – who performs as “Admiral K’han Den” – says this year’s performance will center around his ship’s crewmembers who mount a rescue mission after returning to their ship to discover it’s been abandoned.

Hannon is tight lipped over who the villains are, but he says they’re other popular Star Trek villains.

But it won’t be anyone from Earth because, as Hannon puts it, “humans are not villainous enough.”
