According to an upcoming VH1 special, The Fabulous Life Of Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, J.Lo keeps her skin looking youthful with a cream made in part from human umbilical cords.
Neil Hart, who runs Ost Cosmetics, a Cyprus-based company that makes placenta skin creams, says J.Lo is just one of many celebrities who swear by the goo and the first one to admit it openly.
Experts believe the umbilical-based cream nourishes and rejuvenates skin and is the future for beauty care.
Believe it or not, getting the human placentas isnt a problem. Hart says new moms all over the world donate theirs to be used in cosmetics.
That means its possible that J.Lo could be massaging her mug with one of her future fans umbilical cords and Hart figures the number of sales and donations will only get bigger when the VH1 special detailing her placenta facials airs next Monday (Jun. 6).
