Michael Repper discovered the holy frijole 11 days ago while scooping a cup of dry beans from a bag to a boiling pot of water and did a double take because, as he puts it, its strange to look down and see the face of Jesus on a bean.
As a result of his divine encounter, Repper decided not to eat the blessed bean and has instead put it in a plastic bag labeled Jesus bean.
Repper is now selling the frijole relic on eBay and says his discovery is more impressive than the grilled cheese sandwich featuring the Virgin Mary because, he points out, It was made by nature, not scraped with a fork.
But there is a caveat: Repper insists that whoever buys the bean must believe it is part of either the father, son or frijole ghost and must promise not to eat it.
