TatAd.com which claims to be the first human billboard advertising community dating back to December 2004 will hold its Skin Deep tattooing party May 26 in Vancouver.
The company matches folks willing to sell ad space on their body with companies willing to pay as much as $3000 for the inking.
Corporate spokesman Darren Little says about eight people will get branded at the red carpet event.
Little says he cant explain why people would sell ad space on their bodies, adding its not always about the money.
For instance, he says one man who has loved Suzuki motorcycles since he was eight years old got branded for free.
Little says, When you see the logos, they really look good. He says theyre attention-grabbing, topics of conversation and, most important, people like them.
