New Orleans Hotel Offers Safe Harbor For Real Runaway Brides

NEW ORLEANS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Runaway brides like Jennifer Wilbanks have a new hideout, thanks to a New Orleans hotel.

From now until September, the Loews New Orleans Hotel is offering safe harbor to any bride-to-be with cold feet with a special package tailored to the needs of the nuptially-nervous.

Gals who book a room at $485 per night will receive 24-hour call screening; a session with a palm reader to clear up their murky future; and advice from the hotel’s concierge on where to go to sell or reset an engagement ring.

Ladies also receive a Mardi Gras mask for disguise and a recommendation for a local hairdresser if they want to chop their locks a la Wilbanks.

A spokesperson says the Big Easy is a great city to hide out, and the hotel is expecting to hear from some of the estimated 20 percent of engaged women who call off their weddings every year.
