Florida Man Trying To Make Big Splash With Portable Water Park

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Taking the kids to a water park will be as easy as stepping outside the front door if the design for a new invention makes enough of a splash with manufacturers.

Florida-based Andrew Edwards has invented the Porta-Splash Portable Water Park, an inflatable water park that consists of detachable pools, water slides, jets and rapids.

Edwards says the park, which is currently only in the form of an animated 3-D model, is divided into segments that could be interchanged. Even better: It can be assembled in hours and accommodate more than 200 patrons.

Because of the large size, the water mecca would have to be transported via 18-wheeler, but Edwards says the ability to place the park anywhere you want – on your property or large piece of turf – makes it worth the hassle.

Edwards will make his pitch to manufacturers and distributors at the INPEX invention trade show in Pittsburgh next month and he’s hoping it will be available for purchase within a couple years.
