Posing For ‘Playboy’ Costs Bai Ling A ‘Star Wars’ Role

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – George Lucas doesn’t have a problem with naked wookiees but he doesn’t like his actresses posing nude.

That’s the naked truth according to actress Bai Ling, who was supposed to play Senator Bana Breemu in Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge Of The Sith.

However, Ling just found out her small role has been cut from the flick and, while she doesn’t know what happened, she suspects it has something to do with the fact she recently posed topless for Playboy.

Ling tells gossip reporter Baird Jones that she considers her boob pictures as “beautiful and not pornographic” but thinks the Star Wars producers believe her posing nude was “a violation of the family values group that they are trying for.”

Although Ling spent hours crying after learning she had been cut from the film, she is holding out hope that her role will be reinserted in the DVD version of the film.

In the meantime, Ling’s latest film, The Beautiful Country, just debuted in New York.
