Pedro’s House From ‘Napoleon Dynamite’ Up For Sale

CLIFTON, Idaho (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – For those wanting to own a “sweet” piece of Hollywood history, a house used in the cult movie Napoleon Dynamite is up for sale.

The house that belonged to the mustache-wearing character Pedro is located in Preston, Idaho, and features three bedrooms and two bathrooms.

It’s been up for sale since February, but still has no takers.

Still, homeowner Gary Jones says he has received “about a dozen” serious inquiries to buy the house for $99,500 or rent it for $850 a month.

Jones is surprised the movie’s cult-like following isn’t bringing more willing renters and buyers.

In his words, “I’m not getting too much interest from the movie’s fans. But on the other hand, we’re getting three to four people a day coming to take pictures with the house.”

Jones has even lowered the price recently and insists the cost is fair market value – and that he’s not pricing the house high just because it was “home” to a popular movie icon.
