Taxpayers Are In For A Surprise Today

ISSAQUAH, Wash. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Today (Apr. 15) is tax day and one numerologist says if taxpayers waited until now to file their taxes, they’re in for a big surprise.

Pam Bell says when you add up all the numbers in the date 4- 15-2005 until you get a single digit, it comes out to be an “8” – which in the numerology business means the day will be full of surprises.

The surprises can be bad as well as good, which means those who thought they would get a big return might not get their big pay day, while procrastinators who thought they would owe the government might squeeze some change from Uncle Sam instead.

April 15 in general has come to symbolize surprises – the bad kind, though.

For example, on this day in 1912 the Titanic sank and on April 15, 1865, Abraham Lincoln died after being shot in the head.

And finally, 50 years ago today the first McDonald’s opened, sparking the fast-food craze and expanding the waistlines of millions of people.
