Former ‘American Idol’ Runner-Up Creates A Real Deaf Jam

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Former American Idol runner-up Jim Verraros is about to release his debut CD and it should be a real “deaf jam.”

Verraros will release Rollercoaster next month and although the songs are geared towards all sorts of formats, he’s making sure the mix will appeal to hearing-handicapped music fans like his parents.

As he puts it, “I wanted the bass to be boosted to a certain level so that the songs’ vibration could be felt by hearing-handicapped people.”

In addition, he’s made a special mix that boosts the bass level extremely high so his dad “can play it without bothering anyone else.”

Verraros plans to service the normal mix to radio and clubs but may sell the special “deaf jam” mix at for his fans in the deaf community.

Rollercoaster hits stores April 26 and Verraros plans to promote the CD at clubs and concerts throughout the spring and summer.
