Eight Newlyweds Take The Plunge Down Waterslide

WISCONSIN DELLS, Wisc. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A lot of couples are willing to take the plunge into marriage, but on Sunday (Feb. 13), eight newlyweds will really take the plunge.

The four couples will marry at the Kalahari Water Park in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin, then take a slide down the park’s indoor waterslide, tuxedo, dress and all.

Ed Wedelstadt and Sue Nennig are two of the lovebirds who will dive right into marriage.

Being spontaneous isn’t unusual for the couple, who have been together for just 11 months and engaged for only four.

Ed proposed to Sue on the spur of the moment too. He says they stopped off at a jewelry store to get a new battery for his watch and when they saw engagement rings Sue tried on one.

He got down on his knee and popped the question right then and there – but he never did get the battery for his watch.

Now the couple is preparing for the big plunge. Sue says she’s invested in some waterproof mascara for the day.
