LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) Eating out is now much less dangerous for allergy sufferers. Those with severe food allergies have a hard time dining out since at any moment they could accidentally eat something that sends them into anaphylactic shock, not to mention the emergency room.
Now thanks to AllerDine.com, the 12 million people who suffer from allergies in America can enjoy a nice meal out on the town without worrying about the threat of swelling up and possibly dying.
Website administrators contacted and surveyed hundreds of restaurants across the United States and Canada, gathering information on their food allergy policy and how well they maintain their kitchen to prevent accidental anaphylactic attacks for diners.
The information can be accessed on the website, so users can search for a restaurant theyre looking to dine at and see if its a safe place to eat.
