BOSTON – Police in Massachusetts are no dummies when it comes to commuters trying to sneak into the carpool lanes on the highway. Cops recently busted a woman who was driving in the carpool lane using a fake mannequin as her second “passenger.” She was slapped with a $35 fine and her dummy accomplice was carted away by police.

OAKLAND, Calif. – If you’re a victim of crime in Oakland, California, good luck getting the cops to help. Due to dozens of potential police layoffs, the city’s police chief has released a list of 44 situations that his officers will no longer respond to. Those crimes include grand theft of a dog, identity theft, burglary, stolen license plates, vandalism, and loud music. If those things happen to someone, victims must let cops know online, not by phone.

BEIJING – A tranny in China is stuck in limbo after receiving botched gender-reassignment surgery that left her bare down there. Huang Wei looks like a lady, but the man-turned-woman was recently left with no testicles or female genitals after a procedure. Her ID card is deemed invalid because it still says “male,” yet she has no testicles.

BUNDABERG, Australia – A school teacher in Australia is suing the state government of Queensland because she claims she permanently damaged her larynx “shouting at rowdy children” in her classroom. Valissa Bauer says she couldn’t control her students – who were all about 11 years old and special needs children – so she had to yell all the time, causing major damage to her pipes. This is thought to be the first lawsuit of its kind in the world by a teacher.
